TM Associates Management, Inc. is a full service real estate development firm operating for over 30 years specializing in the development and redevelopment of affordable housing though we have experience in most types of commercial property. Since 1986 when the Federal Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC) was introduced, we have been actively acquiring and renovating affordable housing complexes within the Mid-Atlantic area. To date we have completed over 65 redevelopments with the use of LIHTC financing including 38 in the Commonwealth of Virginia, 20 in just the past five-years. Additionally, the principals of this company are managing general partners in over 100 successfully operated developments located throughout Delaware, Maryland, New York, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Virginia and West Virginia.

DEVELOPMENT TEAM
Tevis Margolis, is the founder of T.M. Associates, Inc. Tevis is a graduate of Temple University with a degree in Business Administration. Since its formation in 1978, Tevis has worked to create T.M. Associates, Inc. into a thriving real estate development business, with a focus on the affordable housing industry. Tevis, personally and through numerous corporate entities, is involved in the ownership of over 50 affordable housing developments. In 1999, Tevis Margolis retired from the day-to-day operations of T.M. Associates, Inc. and turned over the reins to his son Robert B. Margolis. Tevis now resides in Florida.
Robert B. Margolis, CEO of TM Associates Management, Inc. and Vice President of T.M. Associates, Inc. Robert has more than 20 years of real estate development and property management experience. He graduated from American University with a Masters degree in Business Administration, School of Finance and a Bachelors Degree in Real Estate and Construction Management from the University of Denver. Robert has been involved in the ownership, as general partner, in the development and preservation of over 100 HUD and USDA-Rural Development (formerly Farmer’s Home Administration) subsidized housing projects (over 5000 units) targeted at low and moderate-income families and the elderly. Every apartment development that Robert is involved with continues to provide quality housing for low and moderate-income residents. Mr. Margolis takes an active role in the affordable housing industry and sits on the Board of Directors of the National Council of Affordable and Rural Housing (CARH) as well as a Bermuda-based property and liability insurance corporation.
Adam J. Stockmaster, Assistant Vice President of T.M. Associates, Inc., he has more than ten years of experience in the real estate industry. Adam is a graduate of American University with a Bachelors Degree in Finance and a minor in Economics. He has earned the Star Certification in USDA-Rural Development training and has attended numerous workshops and seminars on the Federal Low-Income Housing Tax Credit program. In his eight years with T.M. Associates, Inc., Adam has been successful in receiving over 40 awards of LIHTC financing from many State Housing Finance Agencies for properties located in Maryland, New York, Pennsylvania, Virginia, West Virginia and North Carolina.
Ari D. Severe, Senior Development Officer and Controller for T.M. Associates, Inc., he has more than six years of experience in the real estate industry. Ari is a graduate of the University of Maryland with a Bachelors Degree in Accounting. Ari is a Certified Public Accountant and has attended numerous workshops and seminars on the Federal Low-Income Housing Tax Credit program.
Neil Mutreja, is a Development Officer of TM Associates Management, Inc. who has worked with the company since 2004. Neil is a graduate of the University of Maryland with Bachelor Degrees in Decision Information Sciences as well as Economics.
Scott Segel, is a Development Officer of TM Associates Management, Inc., who has worked with the company since December 2008. With a Bachelor’s Degree in Communications and Public Relations from the University of Maryland, Scott has over 8 years of experience working in Real Estate.
